The workshop will take place on July 14th-18th at the University of Connecticut. This page contains logistical information pertaining to the workshop.

Stipend Information

Currently, we are planning to support all our participants with a $1500 stipend! We will process the stipends on the first day of the workshop, July 14th (this is the earliest we are able to process the stipends). We will reach out with the required paperwork for the payment, depending on your role and institution.

Prep Videos and Surveys

Below are links to short videos (~5 min each) that talk through some basic terms and ideas that we’ll be using in the workshop. If you can watch these at some point before the workshop, it will give us a common starting place and vocab that we’ll use next week. (~25 min total).

Materials

Please plan to bring your laptop to the workshop, writing utensils, and any other materials you prefer to utilize as you engage with interactive activities over the course of the workshop.

Working documents help structure your thoughts and reflection on the workshop activities. Use the instructor version or the student version, depending on your role.

Hotel Information

Graduate is the only short-term on-campus lodging option for visitors, with a typical daily rate of around $200. Other nearby accommodations include: Spring Hill Inn, Stone Arches Bed & Breakfast, The Inn on Storrs and KJ Tuckers.
